coffee and sunshine and wireless
21 Jul 2004Its days like this I think I could really make a habit of being unemployed.
I came into town to have lunch with a friend, and then I did some shopping and some banking and some other errands. And then I stopped in at my local cafe and got an iced latte. Its about 90 degrees and sunny out. I got a nice table by the window and got out my laptop. My local cafe has screamingly fast free wireless.
But then I realized: its 90 degrees and sunny out and I’m sitting here indoors with my computer. How silly is this.
So I got up from the table by the window and went half a block up to the town plaza, where I am now sitting on a park bench under a redwood tree by the fountain. The town plaza has screamingly fast free wireless access, too.
